App Limiter
Control how much internet each Windows program can use.
The installer is unsigned, so Windows may show a download warning.
App Limiter lets you manage internet use for individual programs. Choose an app, set separate upload and download speeds, or block its connection entirely. You can also schedule when it may connect and set a daily or monthly data quota. Leave the app list unselected to set a schedule or quota for the whole computer.
The Network activity view shows destinations an app contacted, using domain names where available. You can export the activity list to an Excel workbook.
Get started
Download the latest installer from the release page, run it, and approve the Windows administrator prompt. Setup lets you choose the install folder, desktop shortcut, and whether App Limiter opens when you sign in. The background service starts automatically after installation.
App Limiter currently supports Windows 11 on 64-bit Intel and AMD computers. This build is for one Windows user account per computer.
